The latest design from Philip Watts Design for YO! Sushi has opened on the South Bank of the Thames at Royal Festival Hall.
The design scheme takes its inspiration from the listed octagonal columns found within the interior. An 'S' shaped conveyor belt snakes its way front to back through the space, forming two octagons in the front and rear. The belt is mirrored on the ceiling by a timber raft that follows the belt then flows down the wall, in turn forming a raised floor.
One of the unique features that has been integrated into this scheme is an external conveyor belt, a first for YO! Sushi. This brings the excitement of YO! experience outside, offering diners the ability to enjoy the London weather! |
