Architects who want to design ceilings that appear to pass without interruption from outside to inside can do so, thanks to the Luxalon® range from Hunter Douglas.
Available in a range of shapes, sizes and colours, Luxalon® external ceiling panels can be used to create profiled as well as flat ceilings. They will match the appearance of Luxalon® interior ceilings, so that the design can move seamlessly from the interior to the exterior of the building.
Now Hunter Douglas has introduced a storm-resistant suspension system for its external ceilings to provide extra security in all weather conditions. Despite using fewer fixing points than conventional ceilings, so making installation faster and less expensive, Luxalon® Profix has enhanced storm resistance, confirmed by tests at Dutch research organisation TNO.
Hunter Douglas’ external ceilings are made from a corrosion-resistant aluminium alloy, EN AW 3005, and factory-coated with Luxacote®, a UV-resistant paint system that provides guaranteed colour stability and scratch resistance, ensuring that the sheen is not dulled.
