Leading contract carpet specialist Gaskell Mackay has helped revamp the image for the Hilton London Euston Hotel.

Working with specialist interior architectural design consultancy Wilsdon Design Associates, Gaskell Mackay provided a range of design solutions for specific areas within the Hotel.

In total 2500sqm was installed in the guestrooms, corridors and bar area. A combination of Infinity Axminster carpet for the bar area, Custom Axminster for the corridors and Tufted carpet for the bedrooms.  

“We were given a very clear brief to work to and our expert team of designers worked closely with Wilsdon Design Associates to create carpets to compliment the overall interior scheme” said Stephen Donlan, sales director of Gaskell Mackay.  

The Infinity Axminster was used in the bar area as it allows for the production of small quantities of bespoke carpet within a six week lead time giving interior designers the flexibility to create a truly unique end product.

Gaskell’s Custom Tufted collection offers many colour options and is typically supplied using yarn blends of 80% wool/20% nylon in either velvet or twist finishes. A broad spectrum of pile weights and machine gauges are available.
