British designer, Elliot James has developed a bespoke modular seating system that aims to create a new experience when interacting with furniture.

Snyc consists of highly engineered upholstered cubes on top of gas springs finished with the client's preferred material. When pressure is applied the seat sinks and the surrounding cubes become the arms and back rest, regardless of whether it is the middle or corner cubes.

Each piece can be arranged in multiple configurations, from long straight lines for narrow spaces, to far wider blocks for larger sites, it can also go around corners. The minimalist design means it is at home in both larger scale living and design-inspired areas.
